1. Riding a roller coaster could help you pass a kidney stone.
After several people reported passing a kidney stone while riding Walt Disney World ‘s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Michigan State University research team agreed to investigate the phenomenon in 2016. They began testing on a model kidney and discovered that there was a 64 percent rate of kidney stone passes for those sitting at the back of the Thunder Mountain ride. That number was just 16% for those sitting in the front.
2. Dinosaurs lived on every continent.
A long time ago, dinosaurs lived on every continent on Earth, including Antarctica. The reason we only find their bones in some locations, however, is that the weather and soil conditions in those locations were just right for the bones to be fossilized. Scientists also suspect that there could be other smaller dinosaurs that we know little about because their bones were too small to fossilize well.
