The Prehistoric Forest
Irish Hills, MI
This theme park in Irish Hills opened to great fanfare in 1963, with a prehistoric dinosaur theme. At one point, this park had a waterfall, a smoking volcano and a waterslide.
Somehow, by 1999 the park was closed and left to ruin, but there’s not a lot of information as to why.
