In fact, he received an email on March 31, 2020, from the chief of staff for his office with an article from the Post titled ‘Fauci socks, Fauci doughnuts, Fauci fan art: The coronavirus expert attracts a cult following.’
Fauci answered saying that this is unreal, adding that he hopes that everything will get back to normal very soon because he missed his old life. He also said that being famous is not very nice all the time.
