According to Anthony Fauci, MD, our nation’s top immunologist, the first places that should be closed down immediately in the states where the number of cases is on the rise are bars.

“If you are a red state and you want to get your schools open, you can ask yourself the question—you have a choice. You can either close the bars or close the schools,” he said. He also added that as long as states keep the bars open, they will continue to stay in the ‘red zone’ and the number of cases won’t go down.

However, the decision to close bars might contribute to a transition to the yellow or green zone in a couple of weeks.
