According to Judith M. Persichilli, RN, New Jersey Health Commissioner, the Garden State will also continue to administer the Johnson & Johnson vaccine again as of April 23. She also added that all providers will be informed and they’ll also receive a new updated FDA fact sheet with information about the potential risks of the J&J vaccine.

Persichilli also believes that this process should make people less worried about the Jenssen vaccine, adding that the federal vaccine safety monitoring system is really doing its job in keeping people safe.

Andrew Cuomo also added that it’s important that people understand that all three vaccines available right now in the United States are the most important tools in stopping the coronavirus pandemic once and for all.

He also encouraged New Yorkers to get vaccinated and take whatever vaccine is available for them at that time.
