Thinking about them you might imagine the likes of dogs, cats. guinea pigs and parrots, but what if we told you there are some pets even more bizarre?

At times the White House grounds could have resembled a zoo, as many of our presidents were animal lovers. But you will not imagine the pets that they housed. From alligators to zebras, from tigers to eagles, the White House has seen most of the animal kingdom pass through their doors.
