7. Moon River Brewery

Savannah is full of history and also one of the most haunted cities in the United States. The Moon River Brewery was very famous in 1999 for its cherished beers. However, the building dated way back to 1821 when it was the City Hotel, a hotel with a lot of tumultuous history during the Civil War. Several people have died in this hotel, including a Yankee who got killed in a fight in 1860.

Since then, the Moon River Brewery had its share of paranormal activity, customers have seen bottles flying in the air, while others have felt the touch of unseen forces, some reported even being pushed or slapped. Supposedly, there is a ghost named Toby that lurks inside and likes to scare people off.

8. Pittock Mansion, Portland, Oregon

It all started back in 1909 when Hanry and Georgiana Pittock decided to build their dream home in Portland, Oregon. Sadly, the Pittocks didn’t get to enjoy their forever home for long, as both died very young, Georgiana in 1918, followed by her husband in 1919.

After their death, people have seen a lot of strange things happening inside the house, such as Henry’s painting moving on its own from one room to another, and a strong scent of roses, which was Georgiana’s favorite bloom. The spouses loved their house so much that they decided to never leave it. The building is now a public landmark.
