No matter how small a town may seem, any place you move to will have a quirky side. Unique opportunities are bound to occur, whether it’s an opportunity to play a sport that you never knew existed, or to enter the local photography club of people who love taking pictures of the stunningly beautiful landscapes or attending one of the best small-town festivals in America. Stepping outside your comfort zone is a must if you ‘re prepared to trade done the familiarity of urban life for country life.
i’ve lived in the rio grande valley, texas. its hot as blazes, but its very cheap to live here. san benito is 35,000 people and that’s big enough for me. of course there very little opportunity here, but i’m retired and can’t afford to live anywhere else. so i guess this is where i’m going to die. every place has its pluses and minuses……….there is no utopia……….bummer!
