Also known as John Wayne Glover, this serial killer in Australia specifically targeted elderly women, hence the nickname. Usually, he’d wait while they were returning from shopping, sneak up, and strike a blow in the back of their heads with a hammer.
He was careful to strike just enough to kill them but not to get too much blood everywhere. Eventually caught, he was sentenced to life in prison but committed suicide in 2005.
