An athlete would give anything to improve his performance on the tracks or anywhere else he performs. A study on British swimmer, Ben Hooper, directed at developing a soundtrack to enhance his power and endurance level ahead of his 2,000-mile swim across the Atlantic this December, showed that tracks of US rapper, Eminem, hit the bull’s eye.
Listening to his songs, like Lose Yourself and Without Me boosted his performance by 10%. With this finding researchers have listed certain numbers that bring your energy down and so must be avoided during work-out sessions, like those of Bob Marley, as they seem to cause fatigue and a lacklustre performance.
