1. Snap your fingers at the waiter
Sometimes it can take a while for the waiter to come around to your table. And yes it is annoying, but keep in mind that it generally happens when there’s rush hour and the servers have to tend to more than one table. Snapping your fingers, whistling, or making any other weird sounds to get their attention is frankly rude, no matter how they make it seem in movies.
Raising your hand with a smile and a little nod when the server indicates they saw you is enough. They are going to come to you when they are done with what they are doing. Just a little bit of patience!
