5. Not the way to debate
We all have seen the way the debates with Donald Trump have been a mess because he has the habit of heckling and interrupting his opponents often. It stops being a debate and more a speech where someone can be as loud as possible instead of managing to rebut another opinion. However, in 2012, Joe Biden was just as annoying as some people find the ex-president nowadays.
During a debate with Republican Raul Ryan, the now-president had been just as aggressive in his speech patterns and has resulted in the same type of heckling strategies that Donald Trump used on his opponents. In the 90 minute debate, Joe Biden interrupted his opponent 85 times, making this almost an interruption per minute!
He definitely did not like that during his first debate during the presidential election against Donald Trump, so we are happy to see he has not resorted to this type of debating after that 2012 fiasco.
The disappointment of his supporters must have been loud and clear.
