Letitia Geer invented the modern syringe in 1899. Even though syringes existed before that, Letitia’s invention allowed doctors to use it with just one hand.
On Feb 12, 1896, an American lady filed for a patent application that discloses a medical syringe. With her invention, Letitia has changed the world and the concept of medical treatment.
