Mad Max: Fury Road
Recently released in a special ‘Black & Chrome’ edition that drains all the colour out of George Miller’s nightmarish, blood ’n’ thunder road movie, the original cut of Fury Road burns out of the screen in Ultra HD. On the run from the despotic Immortan Joe and his army of War Boys, Fury Road’s non-stop juggernaut of destruction barely gives you time to blink, let alone wonder if there’s really any plot to speak of. But when you’ve got a man standing on top of a truck playing a guitar that spews fire, who really cares?
