Buying organic produce from Trader Joe’s is always a good idea, as the chain prides on offering fresh products that even chefs like to buy. Plus, it’s a healthy option.
“I honestly like a lot of the organic produce from Trader Joe’s,” said award-winning chef Marcel Vigneron. “The opal apples usually have a very nice crisp texture and a delicious sour-apple flavor, which is indicative of the characteristics that I look for when choosing an apple,” he added.
2. Trader Joe’s frozen food
Trader Joe’s is very well-known for offering a large variety of frozen meals, sides, and desserts. What’s not to like about that? It’s impossible not to find something you like at the freezer aisle.
“I’m a big fan of Trader Joe’s products, but especially a few of the prepared frozen foods,” said Jonathan Olson, the executive chef at The Keep in Columbus, Ohio.
