Greg Louganis
Renowned Olympian Greg Louganis was placed at birth in the foster care system, having won five medals during his time participating in the games. He was adopted at age nine. Now, in a campaign to support potential foster parents, Louganis confidently stars to achieve a greater understanding of the help and assistance that the program so desperately needs.
“I even had the opportunity to briefly meet the woman who fostered me,” said Louganis in a statement through Raise a Child. “I have had amazing opportunities I never would have had otherwise. I am truly grateful.”
Additionally, Louganis found his birth father whom he had longed to meet in 2017.
