13. Babies are physical anomalies.

Babies, especially newborns, are remarkably different from the children they grow up to be. When they are born, their heads account for a large proportion of their full body weight, and the size of their brains will double in the first year of existence. Babies have 300 bones and around 10,000 taste buds all over their mouths. Some of the bones will fuse as they grow older (to 206, as an adult), but the taste buds not on the tongue will eventually disappear.

14. The Queen has some hidden hideaways.

Since the beginning of the 13th century, the City of London has officially paid rent to the Crown for two small pieces of property. Luckily for the city, the price has remained the same for more than 800 years: one knife, one ax, six horseshoes, and 61 nails, offered every autumn at the Quit Rents Ceremony. While one of these properties is situated of the Moors of Shropshire and the other near the Royal Courts of Justice in the city itself, no one knows the actual location of this property of the Queen.
