Why are people still skeptical about this vaccine?
As previously mentioned, the vaccine is considered to be very controversial, after several European Union countries, including France, Italy, and Germany have suspended the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine in their countries, amid blood clotting concerns.
But according to AstraZeneca, there have been 37 reported cases of blood clots, out of 17 million people who got inoculated with the vaccine in the U.K. and Europe. The company also mentioned that there haven’t been any serious side effects related to the vaccine. The AstraZeneca vaccine has been declared safe and effective. According to DSMB, the benefits of administering the vaccine still outweigh the risks.
