As the researchers have explained, infliximab is probably not the only medication linked to affect the vaccine’s efficacy. In fact, they believe that other TNF inhibitors, prescribed to reduce inflammation in the body and suppress the immune system, could also affect the immune response to COVID-19 vaccination.
Just like Remicade, other common TNF inhibitors such as Humira (adalimumab), Enbrel (etanercept), Cimzia (certolizumab pegol), and Simponi (golimumab) could have the same effect on the vaccines.
