Trick or treat?Â
Also in 2018, the presidential couple welcomed a number of children to the White House who were there to trick or treat. Like the other presidential couples before them, the two did not wear costumes when they welcomed the children and gave them candy.
Yet, Melania’s outfit as she welcomed the children from military families caught the attention of the media. The coat from Bottega Veneta costs about $3,950 and can no longer be found online. Yet, this yellow tartan coat (which was very festive) is one of the most expensive ones in which the ex-First Lady has been seen.
I’m amazed that the writer was so concerned with the monitory value of her clothes. Trump doesn’t take a salary. He’s even given huge amounts of money to projects that better our country. And his friends have given huge amounts too. Other First Lady’s have cost the tax payers much more than our present First Lady. Their staff alone cost tax payers much more that Melanie’s clothes. Why don’t you write about that.
If I was going to spend all that money on clothes, it wouldn’t be anything that I saw in this article. I think that coat is ugly, the pink blouse certainly is not nice and the plaid shirt looks like a shirt you could by for $15.00 at Walmart My favorite outfit was the blue suit Melania wore at the first inauguration. That was perfect with the gloves and shoes to match.
I love her clothing, leave her alone that is stress relief. I am not a fan of her husband but I love her clothing, let her have enjoyment and spent his money.
I believe that she is a gold digger, only using Trump for her notoriety and to gain wealth. To me, she is not a very good model, and she should absolutely learn to speak better English. Everyone has his/her opinion, and that is mine. She is not a very good example of a First Lady. I will say that I am glad that she is not spending the tax payers money, using her own or a gift, that is great!
