Since the 1940s, Bulgari’s Serpenti collection (from RM9,800) has been reinvented annually with its latest 2017 iteration coiling around the wearer’s finger.
The tessellations of the ring are shaped as a viper’s head, simultaneously recalling the folds of a serpent’s scales. These triangular segments are set with shining hard stones and glittering diamonds in various permutations — in widths of four millimetres and six millimetres — with a selection of precious metal bands.
