2. Okunoshima Island’s Adorable Rabbit Population
This uninhabited island was originally used as a location to test the military’s poison gas weaponry for use during World War II. The Japanese Army used rabbits to test the effects of poison gas. It is highly unlikely that these present day rabbits are descendants of the test bunny population but nobody can tell for sure what happened.
