The Earth is hollow
Even though we’ve heard a lot about Flat Earthers in the last decades or so, there are also those who believe the Earth is hollow. According to Popular Mechanics, this conspiracy theory sustains that the Earth is hollow and there’s even another more advanced civilization living here.
However, this theory is not new. In fact, it dates back to the 17th century, when Edmond Halley suspected that our planet is hollow due to the changing magnetism. However, some people would argue that the hollow Earth theory is even older, as some scientists have discovered that it appeared in folklore all over the world, but especially in Europe in Halley’s time.
Additionally, Athansius Kircher, a German scholar wrote his own textbook in 1664, claiming that ur planet contains a central fire, which is true, and there are also vast underground lakes and lava chambers.
As Popular Mechanics has added, there’s a gaping vortex at the North Pole, e vortex that sucks water and brings it to the central fire, a place where the water will be heated, and then sent to the South Pole.
