Sharing private information
Any Vampire Diaries fans over here? Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were #couplegoals a few years ago, and they were both very private about their relationship. When they called it quits, Ian posted on Twitter: “THOUGHT FOR TODAY: People change and forget to tell each other.’ – Lillian Hellman, playwright (1905 – 1984)”
His ex, Nina, didn’t respond and she continued to keep the details about their split private. Therefore, he was the one that acted immaturely. Learn from Ian, don’t overshare!
Your feelings should be reciprocated
When love is unreciprocated, the relationship is not going to work, no matter how hard you try. While it might seem very romantic to love someone so much if your feelings are unreciprocated, it will hurt like hell, and it’s not what you see in movies, it’s real and painful.
Remember the times when Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez were a couple? Apparently, the two broke up because the American actress wasn’t looking for something serious, while Zac was very much in love.
If you want different things, there’s no point in staying in that relationship. So if you’re with someone and it’s not just a fling, make sure to have a serious talk with them, because it’s way better to know the truth than to live in a lie. Eventually, someone will suffer anyway.
