In fact, Fauci was contacted via email by a booking agent who reached out to him on the behalf of Ryan Zimmerman of Washington Nationals, asking him to appear on a live Q&A on Zimmerman’s Facebook page.

Since Anthony Fauci is a huge Nats fan, he obviously agreed on doing this Q&A with the ballplayer. The booking agent wrote in his email: “Ps – what do you want to bet you get invited to throw a first-pitch next year?”

And Fauci replied saying that he was thinking the same exact thing. And so it happened because Anthony Fauci made the first pitch on the opening day of July 2020, and we can all agree that it was a great throw.

He could use that distraction, don’t you agree?
