Colorado is also among the states that have seen a huge increase in the number of daily coronavirus infections, with a 109 percent increase registered in the last two weeks. These concerning numbers are forcing state officials to make some big changes and implement new restrictions in Colorado.
Denver implemented a 30-day curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and those who don’t comply will have to face a fine of up to $999 or 300 days in prison, The Denver Post stated. The curfew is an important step that might lead to another lockdown if the number of cases continues to rise, according to a spokesperson for Denver Mayor Michael Hancock.
The same curfew was implemented in the city of Pueblo with a $1,000 fine for those who don’t respect it. Pueblo Mayor Nicholas Gradisar stated during an Oct. 29 press conference that the situation in Pueblo is very, very bad. He described it as a ‘public health disaster’.
14. New York
New York was also one of the COVID-19 hotspots in the first wave of the pandemic, and the number of new cases appears to rise again in the fall. According to Mayor Bill de Blasio, COVID-19 is trying to make its way again towards New York, but new restrictions need to be implemented in order to avoid the situation that happened in spring. “We have to stop a second wave from happening here, it is getting dangerously close.”
Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a press conference on Nov. 2 that everyone who travels from any state except bordering Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey to quarantine for three days and do a COVID-19 test.
15. New Jersey
Just like New York, New Jersey urges people not to travel considering that the number of daily infections has seen an increase in the last few weeks. New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy recommends residents to avoid traveling, no matter what you’re destination is.
Starting Nov. 12, non-essential businesses in New Jersey’s largest cities (Hoboken, Newark, Paterson) are required to close by 8 p.m. and restaurants must close at 10 p.m. every night. Additionally, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka announced on Nov. 10 that all businesses in the most affected areas of the state are required to close by 9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 p.m. on weekends.
According to Gov. Phil Murphy, a new lockdown might be possible in the state. “If we have to shut the whole place down we will,” he added. New Jersey was one of the first states to close down completely in March, and they will do that again if the situation gets worst.
16. Florida
The Sunshine State was among the hardest-hit states in the summer, and the numbers appear to rise again in the fall. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis lifted restrictions just one month ago, on Sept. 27, and allowed indoor businesses to function again, the state is seeing again a 41 percent increase in the number of new cases.
Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez has implemented a nightly curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. and everyone is required to wear a face mask in public places and practice social distancing measures.

I’m ashamed of Kim Reynolds. Most Iowans have already been doing what is right in public; she honored us by trusting us to do so. Now, she is becoming someone I don’t trust. Around the globe, lockdown populations vs non-lockdown populations are showing quite identical results. So why the lockdowns???
Overall, most are run by Democrats and the ones run by Republicans will do it in a responsible way!

When you see mail in ballots and 99.9% were for Biden it only confirms my suspicion of an illicit campaign. How can we prevent our country from being taken over by Socialism and the Communism?

Haven’t you all heard it has been proven that masks don’t work at all!!!! The survival rate on this virus is about 99.99 on people under 30 and 99.8 on people 35 to 55 and about 98.7 on healthy people 55 to 70. the odds are good above 70 too if you don’t have health problems that predispose you to having more trouble. It is those people of which I am one that needs to stay away from crowds, have your groceries delivered, order some good books delivered from Amazon, try a new recipe or two or garden if you are in a warm state. The majority of people need to get back to work and save our small businesses which are the lifeblood of our country. What we have to WAKE UP to is the Democrat party used fear tactics to hype this virus up to plague proportions to manipulate us into giving up our freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution. No more people have died from this than the flu. They lumped flu deaths in with Covid to up the death count and also heart attack victims, car and motorcycle deaths ect. This whole thing is a sad hoax.
If the medical experts say that’s what we need we need to follow their recommendations to beat this awful vires. That includes Louisiana.

Typical liberal democrat response. You cannot lockdown. People have bills that must be paid. Do you think the government is going to pay your bills. Will you pay my bills. Of course not. I’m going to work, I’ll wear a mask I’ll even wash my hands, but if you think that lockdowns and those things will end this virus you are sadly mistaken.
Masks don’t really work. I’ve done the research. Keeping distance and washing your hands does. Protect the most vulnerable and let the rest of us live our lives normally.
Show the evidence of your research. Masks do work. Why do you think health professionals have been wearing masks all these years while working with their patients during procedures? All the evidence I have seen says they work to reduce the risks….
Isn’t the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? So, if masks work, if social distancing works, if sanitizing carts, hands, etc., works, if staying home works, then why the increase? Trump has been a President of the people.. He has accomplished a lot in the four years he was in office and would have done more if those Democrats had been worried about this country instead of being bought out by China.
