Just like his brother’s relationship with Priyanka Chopra, Joe’s and Sophie’s relationship also started with a text, after he slid into her Instagram DM’s in 2016 after a few friends wanted to introduce them.
They clicked instantly, and after talking for a few weeks the two started dating, even though they tried to keep their relationship private at first. Sophie has shared in an interview that it was very hard to believe that Joe Jonas had texted her, so she asked her good guy friends to go with her on the date. She was afraid that he could be a catfish, so she brought her friends as backup.
However, the date went way better than expected, they talked for a few hours and everything came naturally. After a few years of dating, the two tied the knot in 2019 in Las Vegas. Turner told Glamour that she’s very happy, and everything she’s done is thanks to her amazing husband that loves her more than he loves himself, the man that prioritizes her happiness, the one who supports and respects her very much.
