Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are good examples that true love exists, and even though they faced a lot of challenges in their marriage, they managed to overcome them all. They met in 2005 at a gala and got married a year later, in 2006.
However, their relationship wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, as Urban had to deal with his addiction to substances. In fact, after getting married, he checked into rehab, and Kidman was there by his side, showing her support. She even canceled all her professional plans to be there for her husband.
They manage to overcome those bad moments and became stronger than ever. According to Keith Urban, “Meeting her and getting married wasn’t life-changing, it was life-beginning. ”
Nicole gave birth to their first child together in 2008, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, even though she had two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise, Isabella, and Conner. In 2011, they welcomed their second daughter, Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, via surrogate.
Kidman mentioned in an interview for Vogue that she wanted to have an even bigger family, as she struggled with fertility issues in her previous marriage, and experienced two miscarriages.
They were asked many times what’s the secret to their successful marriage, and according to Nicole, saying hello and kissing goodnight always helped them stay connected.
