At the moment, three COVID variants have been discovered in the world.
The mutation process is normal for all viruses in order to transmit and survive, and there aren’t such big differences between the variants. Currently, three new variants have been discovered in the world, the U.K. strain, the South African strain, and the one from Brazil.

What’s even more concerning is that the vaccines and treatments might not be as efficient when it comes to the COVID mutations. Also, as many studies have shown, they’re also more transmissible than the original strain.
