As one of only six states that never entered the lockdown, South Dakota has consistently ranked the highest in the WalletHub survey of states with the least coronavirus restrictions. This is because “it is the only state that never mandated a statewide closure of bars and restaurants” either, WalletHub analyst Jill Gonzalez said in a statement.

The state has already lifted all restrictions on large gatherings and advises wearing a face mask instead of requiring it. According to the South Dakota Department of Health, there were just over 5,600 cases of coronavirus in the state, which resulted in nearly 70 deaths.

Good for them. I suspect it was.primarily because they didnt have the population most states are dealing with.

  2. California gets the Fool Retard Award! Gov. DumbAsDirt locked down 40 million people, close everything except his favorite beauty parlor and has single handedly BANKRUPTED the 7th largest economy in the entire world. Con-Graduations Gavin you are now a 1 term governor..

    1. Nancy, you can’t be serious. Can you imagine what the numbers would have been if there was no lock-down order.

    2. Nancy how are you doing now. Last I heard California is on a big uptick with the coronavirus. I guess it is because of people like you.

  3. If anything it shows you were not to live in the future and how your vote for a governor is huge! Vote them out. We should have never shut down its evident now. Such a waste of the economy and mental health etc. etc.. FEAR is so motivating and the general public follows the mother duck oh too easily.
