Most students are OK with the vaccine requirements.
While there are a lot of people that don’t want to get vaccinated for various reasons, college students have shown a lot of interest in the vaccination. In fact, a recent survey made by research group College Pulse has shown that more than 71 percent of the students that participated in the study reported being supportive of the vaccine requirements.
They also agreed that universities and college campuses have the legal grounds to require mandatory vaccines for those who choose to go back to in-person learning, in a context of a global pandemic just like COVID. However, 19 percent of participants didn’t share the same opinion and don’t like the idea of being forced to get vaccinated against COVID, while the other 10 percent reported being unsure regarding the vaccine requirements.
According to Anne Schwichtenberg, director of research at College Pulse, the survey has proved that students are supportive of the idea of getting vaccinated and coming back to universities and campuses. She added that students are waiting patiently to go back to their normal, pre-pandemic lives, where they can enjoy these beautiful years on campus.
It’s true that some students are still not convinced about the efficacy and safety of the vaccines (especially the students of color), even though the majority of them believed vaccines to be a very efficient way in putting an end to the pandemic. Also, 66 percent of students showed more support regarding the vaccine than with a nationwide mask mandate, while 65 percent of them also prefer the vaccine in comparison with stay at home orders.

You used a very misleading choice of words–no one can be “FORCED” to take the vaccine, but (students,
for example) CAN be FACED with the decision to vaccinate or relinquish their privilege of returning to campus–RIGHT?!
