Take a lunch break
Don’t forget about your lunch break, or any other break you would take if you were at the office. It’s important to take a few minutes out of your day to relax and free you mind from work-related stuff.
Order in some lunch or heat up the leftovers from yesterday, and give yourself some time to recharge before you head back to work. If you take more small breaks, you’ll notice that the rest of your day will go much smoother.
This is a tricky, yet necessary tip. However, don’t overdo it with these breaks. Small relaxing breaks are very helpful in keeping your mind clear and your thinking sharp. Evans suggests setting a distinct time limit for each intermittent break.
Don’t clean
Even if it’s tempting, you must resist your desire to straighten up or take on larger projects around the house on working hours. Keep your normal cleaning schedule because you need to stay focused on your work, and cleaning the house won’t make you more productive.
