Reward yourself
Work from home is still a long workday, even if you’re not at the office, so treating yourself after a challenging day is important. One of the advantages of working from home is that you can reward yourself with the things you like, without getting the side-eye from a nosy coworker.
Try a mid-afternoon stroll around the block after finishing a project or a fresh-baked cookie after getting off a conference call.
Set clear boundaries
These boundaries are important for separating the work hours-which are for work only, and your free time where you should do everything but work.
This applies to both your physical and mental work-from-home space. That way, you can “close the office door” at the end of your working day, Evans says.
