Laura Bush
When Laura Bush was a teenager, in high school, she didn’t stop at a stop sign when she was driving, so she hit another car and killed its driver, Michael Dutton Douglas, who happened to be a close friend of hers and classmate.

Ted Kennedy
Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge on Chappaquiddick, an island near Martha’s Vineyard, in 1969. His car went into the water, and while Kennedy saved his life by getting out of the car, his passenger drowned in the vehicle.
Kennedy ran from the scene and waited nine hours to report the accident, and later pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident.
