4. Georgia
Georgia has been on experts radar for months now, as one of the first states to end the lockdown. And the state situation definitely needs to be monitored: the Covid Act now refers to a high infection rate of 1.24 and a high positive test rate of 14.6 percent. But again, the diminishing number of ICU beds places Georgia in the “critical” category. The state currently has about 108,400 COVID cases, with around 2,950 deaths.
