It’s been more than a year since COVID-19 is part of our daily routines and the idea of a normal life seemed very far away for a long, long time, even though it’s been on our minds since the beginning of the pandemic.
Getting back to our pre-pandemic lives doesn’t seem so impossible now, thanks to the COVID vaccines and to the number of vaccinated people that continues to increase every day. Millions of people are already immunized in the United States, while others are still waiting for their turn to get vaccinated.

As data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has shown, 10% of the population has already received the two vaccine doses and is fully immunized. 77 million doses have been administered in the United States at the moment. This is definitely good news and brings a lot of hope to finally seeing an end to the pandemic.
If vaccination continues to maintain its current pace, half of America’s population is expected to be immunized by June, and the other half by October. However, in order to achieve these numbers, the vaccine supply pledges must be met first.
Those who already got the vaccine will be thrilled to find out there’s a COVID guideline change on the horizon, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). New recommendations will be put in place for those who are fully vaccinated, so we’re slowly but steadily going back to the normal, pre-pandemic lifestyle.
