Thelma Todd was found dead in 1935, she was in her car slumped over the steering wheel. Apparently, she died of carbon monoxide poisoning, however, the car’s engine wasn’t running when she was found.
Also, she had several bruises on her body and her neck showed signs of trauma, which made people believe that her death was not just an unfortunate accident. The prime suspect was her ex-husband which was also her partner at that time, the gangster Lucky Luciano.
Additionally, Thelma Todd also received several threatening letters before her death. According to the L.A. Times, those letters demanded her to pay $10,000, if not, she would be killed. Even though all these details could indicate that Todd was murdered, there was not enough evidence to close her case. And just like that, almost one century later, Thelma Todd’s death is still unexplained.

All that I know was that I saw Elvis in Baltimore at one of his last concerts.
When he started to perform, it seemed that he had a hard time standing up.
Several times, during his performance, he was almost carried off stage, some other
singers performed. They helped Elvis come back on stage; however, he was off and
on during most of his performance. It was so sad and to have lost a great talent was
really terrible.
