Pfizer’s vaccine is even more effective in preventing severe COVID infections.
The same study has shown that the company’s vaccine is even more effective in preventing severe COVID-19 cases for at least six months. The findings have shown that the Pfizer vaccine is 100 percent effective in preventing severe COVID-19 infections according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and 95.3 percent effective according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The results have also shown that there were only 32 cases of severe infections among the placebo group, while none of the study participants who’ve received the vaccine became severely ill, according to the CDC.
Moreover, there were 21 severe infections among people who’ve received a placebo, and just one severe case among people who’ve actually been vaccinated with Pfizer, according to the FDA.
