Which States Are Possibly Going Towards Yet Another LOCKDOWN!

Rhode Island

Rhode Island continues to have in effect their mask mandate for any large indoor venues. This also includes small businesses, which have a capacity of 250 people or less, unless the business chooses to require proof of vaccination to allow entry. The restriction in the state are not as extreme as others on our list, but that is in part because, despite seeing growth in cases from one week to another, Rhode Island only saw around 1,000 new cases per week. While we cannot say that this will stay the same in the upcoming weeks, we are glad that the state is seeing just a minimal increase in cases.

Washington

Despite having most of their COVID-19 restrictions lifted, Washington has been tough and kept their indoor mask mandate, something they have not changed ever since September. Together with it, it has been extended to include outdoor events with over 500 participants as well, regardless of vaccination status. However, the capacity for retail stores and religious worship spaces remained fully operational.

The cases are on a growth spike as well in Washington state, as from one week to another we see an increase of almost 30,000 new cases.

Nevada

Ever since the state opened up completely on June 1st, Nevada has adopted a directive that lets their counties decide on their own COVID-19 guidelines individually. That hasn’t changed up until now, despite the growth in cases, but most of the counties have adopted a mask mandate for all indoor spaces in order to try and combat the virus.

The cases are on the rise with a number of about 15,000 new confirmed cases from one week to another. It is possible that we will see an increase in restrictions, but no one can be certain.
