The researchers also pointed out that half of the individuals that experienced this skin reaction after the first vaccine dose also developed it after the second dose. The only difference is that it tends to occur faster the second time, typically within 48 hours after vaccination.
While most side effects tend to be stronger after the second vaccine dose, including fever and tiredness, most people who experienced the skin reaction the second time did not have a more severe experience.
