We are now the closest we’ve ever been to teleportation, which still isn’t close. Chinese scientists teleported properties of light particles known as photons from the ground to outer space. Sadly, this doesn’t mean we’ll be teleporting humans anytime soon. However, this kind of quantum computing could lead to faster and virtually hack-proof communication.
Six premature fetal lambs were put into fluid-filled containers made to resembles wombs. The lambs were at an equivalent of 23 to 24 weeks of a human pregnancy and were successfully brought to term. This breakthrough could mean better care for premature babies in the future.
