But Anthony Fauci is optimistic that everything will get back to normal very soon.
Even though we’re not quite there yet, Fauci is optimistic that things will get better soon, as we’re heading in a direction where mask could possibly become optional. Fauci hopes that next year’s Mother’s Day will look a lot different, with fewer infections and more vaccinated people.
But in order for that to happen, Fauci encourages people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. With more and more people getting inoculated, there won’t be a lot of vulnerable people around, and we’ll be able to get our old lives back.
And without vulnerable individuals, there won’t be surges anymore. But we can’t get back to our normal lives until 80 percent of the population will be immunized.
