A lot of people are concentrated on the words that President Joe Biden is saying right now, as they carry a lot of weight and his decisions impact all of us. However, some also forget that the now-president has said some things in the past that are downright ridiculous or actually major gaffes. No one is without fault, but sometimes people have to think before they speak. And presidents, former or in office, are not excused from this life rule!
If anything, a lot of people would benefit from thinking a bit more about their statements. Being in the heat of the moment or claiming ignorance, there is no excuse when you are a public figure. These blunders may be funny now, but at the time they were quite a big thing and some still make us wince. Do not get us wrong, we do not think the President said any of these with an intent to offend or maliciously, but some statements made us do a double-take.
