7 Things You Probably Won’t See in Target Anymore

Shopping at Target will never be the same. Are you a Target fan? Then you’ve already noticed that your shopping trips look a little different than they used to be. The expansion of the new health and safety legislation against the novel coronavirus, several stores have made improvements to their customer service— and Target is no exception. For those of you who are curious about how different Target shopping may be these days, here are the seven things you ‘re not going to see in the store anymore.

People without masks

People wearing face coverings or masks have become the norm in most supermarkets, and Target is no exception. “Providing team members with high-quality, disposable face masks and gloves to wear at work and encouraging healthy hygiene habits as guided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Given CDC guidance on the role that face masks can play in slowing the spread of the coronavirus and to keep our team and guests safe, we’re requiring team members to wear masks or face coverings when working,” they said in a statement on the website.

Free samples

Free samples will make any shopping experience better— but it may be a while before you get to see them again. “Any grocery stores that offer free samples will likely move away from those in a post-pandemic world especially if they’re in standalone containers and not handed out by workers,” says Julie Ramhold, a consumer analyst with DealNews. Target also stopped offering food sampling options in its stores to keep its customers safe.

Thank you Target, for putting so much thought and effort into this. It all helps keep us safer.

I have never seen anything like this at my Wallmart store, where are these stores with all these pictures?

I AM PLEASED WITH MY LOCAL TARGET IN ORANGE CITY FLORIDA. I AM ON A WALKER WHICH I ENTER THE STORE WITH. THE GREETERS ARE KIND ENOUGH TO PUT MY WALKER IN THE BASKET FOR ME WHILE I SHOP. THEY ALSO OFFER TO DELIVER MY PURCHASES TO THE CAR FOR ME. GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT STORE.

  4. Sometimes the service at the Glenview, Il. store stinks. They never have enough registers open, some of the checkers don’t know what they are doing, shouldn’t be checkers & some are very unfriendly & surley. The store manager is clueless & takes forever to help customers. This store is in an upscale area & needs improvement.
