St. Petersburg, Florida, teacher Danielle Harkins met teenagers at the St. Petersburg Pier one night and gathered them around a fire.
There, she instructed them to cut themselves to release the demons inside them and then to burn the wounds so the demons couldn’t return. In one case, she doused a boys hand in perfume and set it on fire. Harkins was eventually arrested.
