Like father like daughter, Ivanka managed to get permission from school after using as leverage the fact that the school granted similar leave to a student that was training to become an Olympic skier.
In her teenage years, Ivanka started her modeling career, which wasn’t a surprise to anyone, considering that her mother, Ivana, was also a model. At just 16 years old, Ivanka modeled at New York and Sydney Fashion Week and was on the cover of teen magazine Seventeen.
She also participated in runways for well-known luxury brands such as Versace, Marc Bouwer, Thierry Mugler, and Tommy Hilfiger. After a few years of modeling, Ivanka realized that the fashion industry isn’t for her.
Ivanka mentioned in an interview for Marie Claire in 2007 that she “didn’t particularly enjoy the act of modeling,” but she saw it as an escape after she escaped boarding school. “Models were the meanest, cattiest, b***chiest girls on the planet … entitled, unsupervised, undereducated, pampered teenagers whose every success came as the direct result of someone else’s disappointment,” she told Marie Claire.

It sickens me to read this first page. Well to quote the first lady, “ask me if I care”. I don’t care about Ivanka. I care about the people who have more expertise than fashion (with a lot of help from my dad) success running our nation. Essentially, they have made us the laughing stock of the world. Trump is referred to as “the clown”, worldwide, resulting in the chaos and storming and of our Capitol and government that we all witnessed live. Just as bad as the Trump supporters blaming everyone else but themselves or comparing it to other protests. These people were armed and they killed, where is the comparison. Meanwhile, Ivanka’s tweets support showing who she is and what she represents. She deleted her tweet, but the words live on and are hard to undo. She is unworthy of any position in our government.
