2. Ask for a “surprise”
The variety in menus can at times be overwhelming, and when you know the restaurant serves great food the choice is even harder to make. However, refrain from asking the waiter to surprise you as it can create a lot of additional problems.
Not only does it frustrate and stress the waiter, because they cannot know what your preferences are or what you like or not, but it can also be dangerous. The waiter cannot know what you are allergic to or if you hate a certain texture or taste and one unwanted mistake and everyone has an allergy attack on their hands.
Better to be safe and try to choose by yourself. Or, at least narrow down your list and ask for a recommendation from your choices.
