7. Split bill arrangements
It was always a common practice to split the bill between people, especially if you are out with a big group of friends. The common practice of keeping things even is very well spread among friend groups and it is good you decide on how you will pay beforehand: whether or not one of you will pay and you settle accounts later, or you decide to split the bill from the start. Not only is it very rude to ask the waiter to split the bill after they already came with it to the table, but it creates an unnecessary struggle.
Moreover, make sure you settle on one way of paying, cash or card, so the poor person serving your table doesn’t have to go back with one bill and a ton of cards to make sure everything is alright. You wouldn’t like it if you have to do triple the work during rush hour because people are indecisive so do not make things hard for others.
