5. Blocking the way of the waiter
Sometimes the restaurant is packed, or the building itself does not have a lot of space, to begin with. This leaves the walking space limited and let’s be honest, sometimes the managements try to cram inside as many tables as possible: more tables, more customers, more money. Makes sense right?
It also makes sense for you not to walk over and sit behind your friend to show them something on the phone, especially when you have seen that’s the way the waiters take with the piping hot dishes and trays full of drinks. It does not matter if it takes a little time, it blocks the way and frankly, you can lean over, send it to them or wait until later. Don’t block the way, it’s an asshole move.
