Voting by mail
Voting by mail is considered to be the safest and most secure way to vote right now, and fraud it’s unlikely to happen in these circumstances. However, in order to have a valid vote, you need to make sure that your ballot was not submitted with any type or errors or mistakes, such as writing in pencil or not using your own signature.
Also, you must send your ballot early or on Election Day, so you need to request your ballot ahead of time so you’ll have enough time to return it. Your ballot can be delivered in-person to the polling station as well.
However, in order to do that, you must be in good health and not present any kind of COVID-19 symptoms. Moreover, you must wear a face mask when going to the polling station, and use hand sanitizer after getting in contact with several surfaces. Plus, you have to keep the 6 feet distance from others, in order to contain the spread of the virus.
Before deciding to vote by mail, make sure to check your state’s deadlines and requirements. Make sure the state you live in has the possibility to vote by mail because not all the states have implemented this method. Therefore, check with your local/state’s election office just to be sure.
Also, if you live in these five states (Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas) it’s important to know they’re not accepting the fear of getting infected with the novel coronavirus as a reason to vote by mail.
